Registration for the Model Train Wiki is fast, free, and easy. It allows you full access to all the forums and discussion groups, all the areas of the site, and allows you both to create and to edit content.
Since it gives you so many powerful tools in the site, however, we have to do it in three quick steps.
Step 1: Fill out the form below, with your real name (yes, your real name, but it won't get sent to anyone but the site administrators,) your agreement to abide by the rules, and your experience and interest in model trains. You don't have to have any model train background at all to register, but you do have to tell us your interest in it.
The Rules: By clicking on the box, you agree that you will treat other users (and scales) with respect and courtesy, and that you will not post any prohibited content (see What Content Is Allowed.)
Step 2: When you've submitted this form, you will be taken to the automated registration page, where you'll be asked to enter a user name, password, and email. Neither the user name nor the password can have spaces in them, but other than that, you can choose anything for a user name you like (as long as someone else hasn't already used it.) Both user name and password are case sensitive, so be careful to remember what you enter.
Step 3: You will shortly be emailed a confirmation that your account is activated, and you can log in. Until then, you are free to browse the information on the site, but you will not be able to create and edit content.
One more thing. The email you submit here and on the registration page must be the same.
