  • The National Model Railroad Association is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in order to provide a service to the hobby of model railroading.

  • The National Association of S Gaugers, Inc (NASG) is the umbrella organization representing the 3/16" model railroading community. The NASG performs a wide range of activities in support of the S gauge world. It sets standards for S gauge and maintains lines of communication for S modelers everywhere. Through it's bi-monthly magazine, the Dispatch, the organization communicates news about local clubs, new products, events, and projects of interest to S scale modelers. The NASG also works closely with manufacturers and potential manufacturers to help provide products marketable to the membership.

  • The NTRAK Modular Railroading Society, Inc (NTRAK) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging modular railroading in N scale. There are now NTRAK clubs in most areas of the United States and Canada, there are also NTRAK clubs in Australia, England, Holland, Switzerland, Sweden, New Zealand, Japan, and many other countries. NTRAK modules are used to build large display layouts as well as home and club layouts. Modelers from all over the world can build modules, bring them to a show, connect their module with modules brought by other modelers and by doing so a giant N scale layout is soon constructed. NTRAK modules have been used for NMRA National Convention layouts since 1974.

  • oNeTrak is an offshoot of NVNTRAK, the largest NTRAK club in the US. oNeTRAK is a new modular subdivision of NTRAK featuring a single track mainline and Digital Command and Control. The objective of oNeTRAK is to augment and expand NTRAK to allow prototypical modeling and operations on a single track modular railroad. oNeTRAK offers modular railroaders the opportunity to build smaller, less expensive and easier to transport modules. Because they are smaller than NTRAK modules, they provide more mainline per unit weight yet still have a high scenery to track ratio. They are easier to incorporate into home layouts. A wider variety of prototypes locations are available to model.
